47TH ANNUAL NAIJA INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION

October 1, 1960 is the day Nigeria claimed its independence from British rule. New York City is the place to be celebrate being Nigerian. Feels Good 2 B Home obtained this flyer for those within the Tri-State area to come out and join in the fun:

Apparently this year's parade is happening on my birthday-Saturday, September 29th at 11 am. Location is the Nigerian House between 54th Street to 44th Street.

The three day celebration kicks off officially at MARS 2112 in Brooklyn.

Last year bought out Ramsey Noah, Omotola, Regina Askia, Ebbe Bassey, Nnenna of "America's Next Top Model" fame, and the stars of "This America." Regina Askia even held a fashion show to highlight the 46th annual celebration of Naija independence last year in the Big Apple.

Remember, Nigerian's actual independence is on a Monday! Wave that green white green flag with pride, folks! Feels Good 2 B Home hopes to see you there at the parade!
