Quick facts about Sade Baderinwa:
*Baderinwa's father is Nigerian and her mother is German.
*Tragic occurred before Sade took on her anchor position in July 2004. While preparing a report on location in Hackensack, New Jersey about local flooding, Ms. Baderinwa was struck by a hit and run driver who went through police lines.
*Fortunately, Sade returned to her anchor post five months later after multiple surgeries and months of physical therapy.
