been performing. Dehydration was the cause, her rep, Yvette Noel Schure, said in
a statement. Rowland was taken to an undisclosed Lagos hospital for a check-up
and was reported to be in "good condition."

Word is Kelly was out for a good 15 minutes. And here's a fan reaction to the incident: "Kelly Rowland freaking collapsed, 15 minutes into her performance. She was all up on the stage shaking her booty to "Say My Name" and I look away for a split second and then I see her lying on the stage. At first, I thought it was part of the act especially when one of her dancers started jumping around super-dramatically but then stage crew started running towards her and then some This Day folks including This Day publisher, Nduka Obaigbena were on the stage forming a ring round her to prevent the audience from seeing what the medical emergency crew were doing and then we knew it was real." She should know by now dat drinking plenty of water before a performance in such a hot-climate country is really crucial. She should'v known dat by now since she well-travelled celeb.
The heat and smell in Naija was all too much for her. I know whenever I travel to Naija I'm fully hydrated!
Chi Chi girl.....i'm not saying d heat wasn't too much for her. All i'm saying is dat she should know better, seeing dat she's been SA b4 and i'm sure other hot countries like naija. she should've known by now dat she's meant to drink lots of fluids especially water.
We should just thank God she's ok at least.
Wienna, I'm with you...she should have known better. I mean she travel to Dubai--now that place is in the middle of the desert!
Climate change and stress might have all added to her passing out like that too.
I'm too thankful that she's alright in the end. That fall was hard!
